## 6.5.3 Setting up a new ATS unit

When the introduction into service of [remote aerodrome ATS](https://avioverse.aero/glossary/easa/remote-aerodrome-ats) is performed at an aerodrome where no [conventional tower](https://avioverse.aero/glossary/easa/conventional-tower) exists (and therefore no associated ATS is provided), an implementation plan for the introduction of the new ATS unit should be developed, taking into consideration the different elements contained in this document and the specific conditions of the target aerodrome.
