## 4.2 Practical element assessment standard

After the practical element of the [aircraft](https://avioverse.aero/glossary/easa/aircraft) type training has been completed, an assessment must be performed, which must comply with the following:

(a) The assessment shall be performed by designated assessors appropriately qualified.

(b) The assessment shall evaluate the knowledge and skills of the trainee.
