## ORO.GEN.105 Competent authority

For the purpose of this Annex, the competent authority exercising oversight over operators subject to a certification or declaration obligation or [specialised operation](https://avioverse.aero/glossary/easa/specialised-operation) authorisation shall be for operators having their [principal place of business](https://avioverse.aero/glossary/easa/principal-place-of-business) in a Member State, the authority designated by that Member State.
