# ORO.FTL.215 Positioning

## ORO.FTL.215 Positioning

If an operator positions a [crew member](https://avioverse.aero/glossary/easa/crew-member), the following shall apply:

(a) [positioning](https://avioverse.aero/glossary/easa/positioning) after reporting but prior to operating shall be counted as FDP but shall not count as a [sector](https://avioverse.aero/glossary/easa/sector);

(b) all time spent on positioning shall count as [duty period](https://avioverse.aero/glossary/easa/duty-period).
