## ADR.OPS.D.005 Apron boundaries

(a) The [aerodrome operator](https://avioverse.aero/glossary/easa/aerodrome-operator), in cooperation with the air traffic service provider, shall define and provide the [apron](https://avioverse.aero/glossary/easa/apron) boundaries to the [aeronautical information service](https://avioverse.aero/glossary/easa/aeronautical-information-service) provider for publication in the [Aeronautical Information Publication (AIP)](https://avioverse.aero/glossary/easa/aeronautical-information-publication).

(b) When defining the apron boundaries, at least the following shall be taken into consideration:

(1) [aerodrome](https://avioverse.aero/glossary/easa/aerodrome) layout;

(2) [runway](https://avioverse.aero/glossary/easa/runway) and [taxiway](https://avioverse.aero/glossary/easa/taxiway) configuration and method of operation;

(3) traffic density;

(4) weather conditions;

(5) operational procedures.
