## CS ADR-DSN.L.580 Intermediate holding position marking

(a) Applicability:

(1) An [intermediate holding position](https://avioverse.aero/glossary/easa/intermediate-holding-position) [marking](https://avioverse.aero/glossary/easa/marking) should be displayed along an intermediate holding position.

(2) An intermediate holding position marking should be displayed at the exit boundary of a remote [de-icing/anti-icing facility](https://avioverse.aero/glossary/easa/de-icinganti-icing-facility) adjoining a [taxiway](https://avioverse.aero/glossary/easa/taxiway).

(b) Location:

(1) Where an intermediate holding position marking is displayed at an intersection of two taxiways, it should be located across the taxiway at sufficient distance from the near edge of the intersecting taxiway to ensure safe clearance between taxiing [aircraft](https://avioverse.aero/glossary/easa/aircraft). It should be coincident with a stop bar or intermediate holding position lights where provided.

(2) The distance between an intermediate holding position marking at the exit boundary of a remote de-icing/anti-icing facility and the centre line of the adjoining taxiway should not be less than the dimension specified in the table below.

(c) Characteristics: An intermediate holding position marking should consist of a single broken line as shown in Figure L-5.
