## CS ADR-DSN.D.300 Taxiways on bridges

(a) The width of that portion of a [taxiway](https://avioverse.aero/glossary/easa/taxiway) bridge capable of supporting aeroplanes, as measured perpendicularly to the taxiway centre line, should not be less than the width of the [graded area](https://avioverse.aero/glossary/easa/graded-area) of the strip provided for that taxiway unless a proven method of lateral restraint is provided which should not be hazardous for aeroplanes for which the taxiway is intended.

(b) Access should be provided to allow rescue and firefighting vehicles to intervene in both directions within the specified response time to the largest [aeroplane](https://avioverse.aero/glossary/easa/aeroplane) for which the taxiway bridge is intended.

(c) A bridge should be constructed on a straight section of the taxiway with a straight section on both ends of the bridge to facilitate the alignment of aeroplanes approaching the bridge.
