Certification Specifications and Guidance Material for Aerodrome Design (CS-ADR-DSN) — Issue 7 · Regulation (EU) No 139/2014 · EAR revision 13 Mar 2026

IR Implementing rule

## CS ADR-DSN.D.250 Taxiways curves

(a) Changes in direction of taxiways should be as few and small as possible. The radii of the curves should be compatible with the manoeuvring capability and normal taxiing speeds of the aeroplanes for which the [taxiway](https://avioverse.aero/glossary/easa/taxiway) is intended.

(b) The design of the curve should be such that when the cockpit of the [aeroplane](https://avioverse.aero/glossary/easa/aeroplane) for which the taxiway is intended remains over the taxiway centre line markings, the clearance distance between the outer main wheels of the aeroplane and the edge of the taxiway should be not less than those specified in CS ADR-DSN.D.240.
