## GM1 ADR-DSN.B.060 Longitudinal slopes on runways

Slopes should be so designed as to minimise impact on [aircraft](https://avioverse.aero/glossary/easa/aircraft) and so not to hamper the operation of aircraft. For precision approach runways, slopes in a specified area from the [runway](https://avioverse.aero/glossary/easa/runway) end, and including the touchdown area, should be designed so that they should correspond to the characteristics needed for such type of approach.
