## GM1 ADR-DSN.B.040 Runways with stopways, or clearways

Where a [runway](https://avioverse.aero/glossary/easa/runway) is associated with a [stopway](https://avioverse.aero/glossary/easa/stopway) or [clearway](https://avioverse.aero/glossary/easa/clearway), an actual runway length less than that resulting from application of GM1 ADR-DSN.B.035 as appropriate, may be considered satisfactory but, in such a case, any combination of runway, stopway, and clearway provided should permit compliance with the operational requirements for take-off and landing of the aeroplanes the runway is intended to serve.
